How it works – Plastikeers

The TREX Challenge

Trex® has sponsored local recycling programs in communities throughout the country.

Plastikeers has registered to participate in this program. If our team can collect more than 500 pounds of plastic refuse in a six-month span (about 60,000 plastic bags), Trex will donate a high-performance composite bench to our community.

We have chosen May1, 2023 to October 31, 2023 as our six-month collection window

Trex® has provided promotional materials and recycling bins.

Every month, a volunteer will weigh and report the collected materials before delivering them to one of the participating drop-off retailer locations.
